DME Customer Service

 

IMMEDIATE HIRING: We have positions to fill

 

We are seeking motivated candidates for a DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT (DME) customer service. This position is full time. These positions are primarily calling to patients, doctors & insurance companies as well as data entry based. Prior experience in customer service is required. You will be interacting closely with our customers, physicians and insurance providers to process requests from our patients, providers and payers. This fast-paced job processes orders and claims, as well as addressing customer service and administrative functions.

 

Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Answering patients' questions about our products with concern, patience and care
  • Submitting claims to insurance companies on behalf of patients
  • Working directly with the insurance companies, healthcare providers and physicians to process patient claims
  • Verifying patients' insurance coverage and requesting prior authorizations
  • Follow up with patients on orders and claims
  • Proven computer skills to do tasks required.
  • Excellent work ethic in prior jobs
  • Excellent and assertive communication skills
  • Interest in advancement
  • Excellent attendance and dependability
  • Desire and proven ability to work well with others
  • Complete understanding or willing to learn aspects of insurance reimbursement processes

 

Qualifications

 

The right candidate must embrace attention to detail and be willing to come to work every day with a heads up, work hard attitude.

We want candidates with great positive attitudes who are quick learners and assertive problem solvers. Experience in DME insurance billing is preferred but not required. Candidates who understand the complexities of a DME are encouraged to apply.
